Wild Thyme ...
has grown organically since its humble origins in 2005 when Tamsin first started cooking for friends’ dinner parties. We have literally grown via word of mouth and our website. We are delighted that Wild Thyme now enjoys a growing reputation for supplying sumptuous food for weddings, parties and events.
All our food is home-made and freshly prepared using as much of the superb local produce available in East Devon.
Over the years we have built up a network of wonderful suppliers of superb local produce which inspires our cooking and menus.
It is fantastic to support local farmers and fishermen. For example, fish is caught from day boats off the coast of Beer.
JMM Fisheries, Beer will always ensure a plentiful supply of the freshest crabmeat for the popular Avocado, Crab and Prawn Terrine.
We are equally fortunate to have a lovely team of serving staff (many of whom are girls from the Maynard School, Exeter) and two assistant cooks who are a pleasure to work with.
Above all, we are hugely grateful to all our clients who have enjoyed our cooking and entrusted Tamsin to cater for their special occasion. This has inspired confidence. Tamsin's passion for cooking and commitment to providing the best possible service she can, is as strong as ever!
